I am sure when you started playing WoW with your first character, you probably wanted to visit the AH and pick up as much of the best gear you could find or easily buy all the skills from a trainer. That is what new players want, I don’t care how many times players tell them they do not need gold, they still want gold.
And yes running to Orgrimmar would slow down questing if you stayed there, but guess what, You can run back…

URSExelcior,
I think your statement answers itself, a new player does not NEED 1G and it is true you do not NEED too much money until level 40…but as a new player you may WANT to have some extra gold.
There is a difference between WANT & NEED.

agree

Hear that, Captkyle786? That’s the sound of no one caring. I’ve “soloed” low level areas plenty of times. It’s really nothing special.
Interesting video, BTW, thinecron. This trick really would’ve made my very first character’s life SO much easier. lol

You add the music yourself in Windows Movie Maker, or Sony Vegas, or anything like that.

i did it ever one put it for 3g i put it for 50s and i have no bids what do i do

Why would a new player need 1G right away? You don’t need much money until lvl 40, only enough to buy food/water/(bullets)/training.
You can progress through the game perfectly fine with nothing but quest rewards, and going to Orgrimmar at lvl 5 (skipping Razor Hill) slows down questing.

The point was to show a new player with a new character how to make gold quickly. If you have a high level character than yes, you can make a lot more gold very easily. As a new player it is difficult to make that first gold

Or you could mine/pick flowers in Outlands for 10 minutes and make 20 times that ammount.

When you’ve made lots of gold or a powerful account, you can sell it for free at rpgreseller or vgauction

Those suggestions are much more effective than the method in the video.
The purpose of the video was to show a person with a brand new account creating a new character how to make a few gold quickly.

lol id just go do a quest in zangarmarsh and get 5g
February 8th, 2010 at 4:56 pm
Why not just get on a main and do 1 or 2 minutes in Outlands or work on a skill for a few minutes, this may get you as taht guy said 5g at the most which isn’t alot at all…
